DESIGN FOR WELLBEING
Employee health and wellbeing is increasingly becoming more relevant when considering the design of a workplace. A thoughtfully designed workplace environment can not only have a positive impact on staff wellness, but can significantly boost productivity and reduce absenteeism.
According to a 2016/2017 report from the Health and Safety Executive, stress, depression and anxiety accounted for 40% of all work-related ill health cases and 49% of all working days lost due to ill health. Getting the workplace right is just as beneficial for employers as it is for employees.
There are several factors to consider when designing a work space that can directly influence the health and wellbeing of staff within the workplace:
It’s always nice to get out of the office and meet new clients on a prospective site!
We’re tech lovers that’s why we now utilize a 360° photography method when visiting site as a handy tool to gather information to take with us back to the office and share with the team.
Concept is BIM!
We are happy to announce that we are up and running using BIM processes and in our design workflow.
Building Information Modelling (BIM) provides an accurate plan of a building, its assets and data about its operation and management.
It is a collaboration tool leading to better communication, greater efficiency, more precise work programmes and reduced risk.
Our goal is to help our clients design and build better projects through implementing the full potential of BIM.
